Discount Tickets for the Polynesian Cultural Center

So, there is one place that there is a buy one get one free tickets for the Polynesian Cultural Center. The tickets are for village only, so there's no show and no dinner, so it doesn't work for everyone, but if all you wanted was to see the village this is a huge savings.

It's essentially a 50% discounted ticket for two people! It is in the Hawaii Entertainment Book. Well, it's in the 2011 book - if you are reading this later than November 2011, you'll have to click through and see if it's in this year's book.

Other than that, it's hard to find discount tickets to the Polynesian Cultural Center - you can get 5% off at the website for filling out a survey, but other than that there is only one other major option for discount tickets that I have found.

(sometimes you can find something in the tourist magazines available at the Honolulu airport - maybe 10% off or something, but sometimes you can't)

This discounted ticket is on page E73 in the 2011 book. The book comes out every summer and the coupons are usually good until November of the following fall (usually about 15 months). The book costs $35 usually, and typically many of the coupons are the same from year to year. I buy it every year.

These were all coupons in the 2010 book, so you'll have to check this year's book to see if these tickets and coupons are there if you are interested in one of these.

You'll need to get the entertainment book online, normally.  It is sold at Border's and Barnes and Noble and Walgreens, but many times when they run out they don't order more, so you can't guarantee they will have it.

Order at least a month before you are going to Hawaii if you can.  The books can take 2 weeks to get to you.

If you ever think you might want to get one as a gift (there are books for all over the country) , just know that they drop their prices steadily over the year.  They may have a christmas sale, and in the spring the books sometimes go down to $10.

 I am a huge fan of the entertainment book.  I think it is such a huge value for the small amount of money you pay.  There are literally hundreds of dollars worth of coupons that someone on a vacation could use easily in a week or two. 

That Polynesian Cultural Center one is one of the better discount ticket options, but it's not the absolute best - even though it saves $45!  You can save 25% off luau tickest for up to four people.  You can get half off of helicopter tours for 8 people (wow).  You can get 50% off skydive tickets.
